The Concession is named for one of golf's finest moments in history. At the end of 1969 Ryder Cup Match at Royal Birkdale in England, Jack Nicklaus conceded a two-foot putt to Tony Jacklin on the last green. Today, that gesture is considered one of the finest acts of sportsmanship in golf history.

Jack Nicklaus has designed a Signature Golf Course in association with Tony Jacklin, with an adjoining residential community that mirrors the ideals of Ryder Cup competition. It’s a course that celebrates the level of sportsmanship inherent in Jack Nicklaus’s concession at Royal Birkdale.

The Concession Golf Club & Residences encompasses 1,200 acres with 236 homesites planned. The master plan for The Concession calls for the preservation of the natural environment.
